FAQ

Do you support merged cells?
Standard Markdown syntax is designed for simple structured data and does not natively support merged cells. To ensure maximum compatibility (GFM), we stick to the standard format.
How to add line breaks?
You can use the HTML <br> tag within a cell to force a line break. Standard Markdown does not support newlines inside table cells directly.
Why is my pasted Excel data messed up?
Ensure your data is Tab-separated (direct copy from Excel) or Comma-separated (standard CSV). Complex internal newlines or formatting might cause issues; clean text works best.
Is there a limit on rows/cols?
Theoretically, no. But for performance and readability, extremely wide tables are not recommended.
Does the generated Markdown work everywhere?
Yes, we strictly follow Github Flavored Markdown (GFM), compatible with Typora, VSCode, Github, Gitlab, Reddit, and StackOverflow.
Is my data uploaded?
Absolutely not. This is a purely Client-Side application. All processing happens in your browser.
